Özet

The aim of this studyis to determinethe phenoliccompositionofHypericumlinarioidesBosse,to assessits variousbiologicalproperties,and finallyto confirmthe experimentaldataofenzymeinhibitionsvia dockingstudies.LC-MS/MSanalysisperformedover methanolextract(ME) revealedthe presenceof27 phytochemicals.AntioxidantactivityresultsindicatedthatME had the strongestDPPHradicalscavengingand ferricionreducingcapacitythanwaterand hexaneextracts.XTT assaysrevealedthe strongestanti-proliferativeactivityof ME againstMCF-7and HT-29cancercells.Flowcytometryresultsalsoconfirmedthe notableapoptoticeffectof ME on MCF-7cellsthroughmitochondria-dependentpathway.Enzymeactivityresultsexhibitedthe mostpromisingacetylcholinesteraseandα-glycosidaseinhibitoryactivitiesof the ME. Moleculardockingcalculationsofα-glycosidasewith the majorcompounds(1, 15,17 and 19) indicatedthat17 (isoquercitrin)had the bestdockingbindingenergy(10.92kcal/mol)withappropriatebindinginteractions.
