Özet

The aim of this research is to systematically examine studies on various methods, frameworks and techniques found in the disaster management literature. One of the environmental challenges and problems faced by human beings in this period of time we live in is the problem of disasters. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in deaths and economic losses worldwide due to natural and human-induced hazards. One of the important and effective factors in this increase is increasing urbanization, and most importantly, a humanity that is exposed to supply crisis, social disorder, political unrest, natural and human-made disasters due to high population density and excessive development dynamics. It is seen that countries all over the world are becoming increasingly urbanized. This means that urban areas will become the main venue for many potential disasters. Therefore, disaster management in urban areas should be considered as a basic strategy at all stages of urban planning. Disaster management refers to a method or technique used to predict, prevent, prepare for and respond to all types of disasters.
